One of our ADHD clients was struggling to sleep while trying to grow their business.
This is what we did.
Let’s start 🏁with some self-assessment.
What kind of sleep issues are you experiencing❓
ADHD can cause a variety of different sleep disorders, such as ⬇️
Insomnia: Difficulty falling or staying asleep
Daytime sleepiness: Adults with ADHD often report high levels of daytime sleepiness, which can negatively impact their quality of
life.
Short sleep time: People with ADHD may sleep for shorter periods.
Sleep disorders: ADHD can lead to secondary sleep conditions, such as sleep-disordered breathing
💤😵💫
Is it any of these or something different❓
OK, now that we have a clearer idea 💡let’s devise some strategies to help you deal with it.
What’s your answer to this ❓❓
If I had someone to do ✖️ for me in my business, my life would be Y % easier.

Meantime
Being overwhelmed by distractions, impulses, and lifestyle can make establishing and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule challenging.
🚶♂️If feeling overwhelmed, take a break 🚶♂️🚶♀️
☕Reduce your caffeine intake – six hours after drinking a caffeinated beverage, half of the caffeine you consumed is still in
your body, keeping you alert.
🎨Create a wind-down routine that lets your body know it’s ⌚time to relax and prepare for sleep.
🧠 Declutter and calm your mind. Write down or voice record any outstanding tasks or worries. Park these until
tomorrow.
🫂Be kind to yourself
🗓️Schedule self-care
🛀Have a bath or shower
👂Listen to some calming music, a podcast 🎶or a book
🛌Make your sleep area as relaxing as possible. Treat yourself to some comfortable, fresh bedding and dim
lighting. Invest in headphones 🎧 and an eye mask to reduce visual and auditory stimuli.
💃Following a great night’s sleep –
📃Make a list of what is important today and what can be left for later.
🔍Identify the top three priorities.
🗣️ Check in with your support network.
💡Remember to incorporate a self-care routine into your workday.
